Different Different Or Stop Being Different

It's amusing how everyone is trying to be different these days... Every day you see the internet filled with countless quotes about being different, edgy,... whatever name you call it.

But why do we always have to be different? Why does it always has to be about us/me/mine and not about what can we/I/myself can do to make a positive change in other people's lives?

Can we we not stop being different, and instead, try to be the difference in the lives of those who need it?

This trend of being constantly on the move, being constantly restless... where is it really taking us?

If you take a drone shot of a person for a couple of days, and say for example the person wants to be different... Then you'll probably see that person taking different routes to reach his/her office everyday. However after he/she has reached the destination, the person is bound to do the same work.

It's just that the route which he/she has taken is different. Now consider that some day the person takes the same route, and reaches the office, but while sitting on the computer, donates some of his/her fund to charity, or helps a colleague, is it not also being different?

But the only **difference** between the two is, in the first instance the person was just thinking about himself or herself, while in the second he/she had someone else in mind.
