Basic Blocks Every Woman Should Know - Self Defense
When you are prepared and trained to defend yourself, you have the confidence to face unfavorable situations. There are some common attacks that women usually face like touching private parts of the body, slapping, pushing to the ground, etc.

Martial art is for everyone. Women can learn some self defense. Let's watch this video where you see some basic blocks that you should know.

https://youtu.be/ZNivZl3Pq5I

You can move your hands from your center to the outside, aka, outside parry to defend against slap, punch, or someone touching your hair and front part of your body. The same move you can use in different situations to protect yourself.

The bad guys who do that, if they think about the feelings when someone does the same thing to their sister, daughter or mom, then what? If you disturb a girl, she is a sister to someone or a daughter to someone. Have you ever considered their feelings? If you did, you would never ever do something like that.

A guy does not have the right to touch you or hit you like that. And you can use the basic self defense moves and your body language to let them know if they try to do something like that again, they will be in big trouble.

If someone tries to touch you or hit the lower part of your body, you can use the sweep parry, aka, move your hands from center to the below and then outside. You can protect yourself using this block if someone attacks your lower part of your body. When you are good at this block, you can use this block to defend against kicks as well.

If you know the basic and have a good foundation, you can use it in different situations against different attacks. Always be aware of your surrounding. It gives you the signal that helps a lot to defend yourself.

Hope you find this useful. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post. If you like martial arts and want to learn more about self defense, you can check out some of my recent posts.
