When you do something and it works, you should do that. But sometimes we make mistakes while making the financial decision and in the end, we hurt ourselves. You cannot control everything around you, it does not mean you have no options to do anything to change your personal financial situation.

If there is a hard and fast rule of success, it gets easier to succeed. There are trials and errors. If one person achieves financial freedom by doing something, you think you should do that. Then you see another person is doing something else and doing pretty good, maybe now you think you should do that too.

While you keep changing from one thing to another thing, you cannot do better at anything. At some point, you become hopeless. It seems nothing works for you. Now, what if you do something and start making money? It works and you see your earnings.

The next hard thing is consistency. You can do something for a while. It takes a lot of effort and self-disciple to do something consistently. Consistency can change the outcome completely. You will be more than happy to see that and thank yourself in the future for being consistent.

But the problem is, you get distracted seeing shiny objects. People make a lot of money getting involved with that. So what are you doing? You think you have to do that to make huge money. Here you are focusing on getting short-term gains. Have you ever thought of how it would hurt you in the long term?


After getting involved with shiny objects, you get disappointed seeing your return drop. You stop doing what works to generate a consistent income. You are in a vulnerable position and that causes financial problems.

When you do something and it works, you can put your effort into how you can scale that. How can you grow from there? In case there is no room to grow and you get stuck, you can think of what else you can do besides that. Keep doing what you do now and manage some time to do something else.

Don't go all-in on the second thing. You don't know what would be the ultimate outcome. If that works well, you can focus more on that. In case it does not work, it will not hurt you that much financially since you keep doing what works.

Making an analysis of risk and return is a must. Otherwise, you may make the wrong financial decision.
