Hello Hivers.. Welcome to my blog.. So, today we had to stake our tomato plants because it has grown to a level that it has started bending, and if we don’t stake it, it might bend and break which is not what we want for our tomato plants. Staking is one operation that is very important for some gardening crops like tomato, pepper, cucumber etc. Staking gives support to the plants and make it stand upright. There are several advantages of staking to plants which can not be overlooked. Also, there are different methods of staking plants , which is determines by the type of crop planted or the one the gardener wishes to employ. The most common method of staking tomatoes plants is the “ vertical Trellis “ method, This involves tying the rope upright to an overhead pole or wood ( In our case bamboo were been used) and then wrap the plant around the rope to but it in position., I actually love using this method very much. because it is quite easy for me to carryout. The second method of staking I showed the interns was the “Florida Weave” This is a good method that I have seen big farms do, in a commercial scale, it involves wearing the strings or rope in a zig-zag pattern and trying it to a pole or wood . This method is quite easy and keeps the plants from bending and breaking.. <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/rheda/242P8TD91kj62gSp34Gx6rcPgkBnZyrAZwadHTvna7LS2AW93nXQcxNedwgbsDZXdJLgD.png) Original Content Posted By Me @rheda Follow me on: <a href="www.facebook.com/redex">Facebook </a> <a href="www.twitter.com/denis_rheda">Twitter </a> <a href="youtube.com/channel/UCvDCzvpxXtrA9eW0s9AC53Qredex288">youtube </a> (https://images.ecency.com/DQmPX4h7Ka1MNEenP7SZukhzzwZXZ7byGTb7S8vgq1H6tP7/img_0.962739217975896.jpg
