I am currently dealing with a lot of Distraction, especially with my Phones and the 'creative' apps that come with it. And I know many of us are right now dealing with our Social and Digital distractions that it has become harder and harder to FOCUS on the very things that matter. "TIME BLOCKING" is what I do that helps.  It is quite simple really and works all the Time, especially when you know you are accountable to yourself. Basically you write down 3-4 things you want to do from what time to what time, not more than 4. And you sit to begin, Timer in view, Intention set in your mind. As you Tick off items that have been successfully completed in their exact time duration, you gain momentum and are then able to keep going. The Trick here is to reward yourself with your Distraction, and TIME THAT SHIT TOO!! Cause if you don't then your Distraction might suck you in for too long. So for example, my Time Block today is : 6:45AM - Read Bible 15mins  7:00AM - Meditate 15mins  7:15AM - Workout 20Minutes  7:30AM - Write 30 Minutes  My Reward was my Distraction, going through facebook, instagram and twitter feeds for a set time, usually 15Mins. Then Repeat with new Tasks. The aim of this Simple exercise is to help you do what's important first, give time to your tasks, and still enjoy your Digital distraction or whatever distraction you might be dealing with.
