WHAT IS LEARNED IS NOT FORGOTTEN, WE NEED AN EDUCATION TO UNDERSTAND
<center> Generally, education has as a specific objective the great mission of offering information to students combined with their previous knowledge to design a structure based on learning experiences with the intention of inducing students into the world of understanding, that is, to take them much more beyond the simple acquisition of information since the essential objective is to be able to introduce them in the field of learning to understand

Unfortunately many today use a method that conforms to a model with which it is taught only to memorize but without understanding, for this reason many students fail in their learning because they thought to introduce them in a strategy of a moment and they learned for a moment "to memorize to pass "but without further understanding

Obviously the essential objective of education is to help them learn so that they understand since what is learned is never forgotten

It is important to highlight that teachers must be clear that it is essential that the teaching and learning processes that we develop with students must be immersed in their personal development to opt for the claim of knowledge and knowledge in order to pay attention to thinking and the development of memory but not to memorize content but to understand them in different contexts and thus solve new problems and give a thoughtful answer to new questions.

In this sense it is worth saying that “Teaching for Comprehension” means teaching students in such a way that they not only have essential information on important topics, but also know how to use that information, both in their study of other topics and disciplines as well as in the world beyond school.

Understanding means imagining things deducing investigating exploring thinking because if we do not imagine how we can learn, therefore the teacher's didactic orientations should be guided mainly to content analysis
The greatest satisfaction we have as teachers is knowing that our students are understanding content oriented by us with critical and analytical knowledge, where each of them contribute ideas of contexts making good use of content analysis

Students need a model of educational strategy where teachers invest most of their time to explore their capacity for knowledge through information and analysis, since a student who does not analyze is a student who does not read, in a sense he can memorize but without understanding

Regarding this, According to Rodolfo Llinás, he has always criticized that education imparts knowledge by heart without analysis or context, in his opinion the model with which it is taught now is designed so that students can memorize but without greater understanding. "That is why most people do not remember what they study, because it is never understood, once it is understood it is not forgotten."
He also said that you should think about why and why something is studied, what is its purpose in context with reality.

Feedback in education is of utmost importance for student learning because it is this process that guarantees the necessary understanding and information, since feedback expresses opinions, well-founded judgments about the learning process, with the successes and errors, strengths and student weaknesses. ... We call this process "feedback", and it is very important to achieve meaningful and quality learning.

I am one of those teachers who believe that student learning must start from their previous experiences so that there can be motivation and meaningful learning, because they are precisely this type of learning that is never forgotten and although there is a need on some occasions to memorize In some situations, the important thing is to know why we are memorizing it, why we must learn it this way and make the proper analysis of the situation in order to understand the content at that moment

Our role as a teacher is to interact with our students applying learning strategies in order to explore and develop their capacities through analysis and understanding in order to increase their knowledge and discover their critical sense and promote their learning in a comprehensive and analytical way.

REMEMBER THAT WHAT WE LEARNED IS NOT FORGOTTEN, WE NEED AN EDUCATION TO UNDERSTAND
