Feels late! I babysat the granddaughter today, which was fun (and tiring! She's a bundle of energy---I'm a crusty curmudgeon.) We read some books, played with stickers, drew a bunch of stuff (I'll share a bit 'o' that below), ate cereal, watched Bongo Cat, and played a bunch of music. I'm TRYING to give her some strong female role models, so I've introduced her to Joan Jett, Cyndi Lauper, Toni Basil, Fuzzbox, Neneh Cherry, Deee-Lite, Bangles, Bananarama, Go-Go's, B-52's, Siouxsie Sioux, Waitresses, Breeders, and a few others...

Let her know that girls can rock, too, if they wanna!

While the kid was here, we did some ARTING, and then after she left, I worked on a bunch of other stuff. Here are a FEW of the pieces I finished today:

Wow.... No freakin' idea what that means! (If you've never read any of my posts, I'll explain: I practice "automatic writing techniques," sometimes, in which I write the first word that comes into my head---as long as the SOUND of it is good---in a stream-of-consciousness style. I think that kind of stuff is funny, even when it's bizarre nonsense... Especially when it's bizarre nonsense...)

Okay, ya wang-dang doodles! I'm giving up on my phone for the night and switching to the Kindle!!! I've got a few new books and SEVERAL new digital comics to read!!!
