Today was another granddaughter day, and although she's not quite two yet, Felicity has definitely developed enough of a personality to learn how to push at boundaries. We always have fun, and today was no exception, but her attention span seems shorter now, as does her patience! These are the moments in young person's life (the day-to-day, mundane "everydays") that sculpt an individual's personality and world view. I do what I can to influence her growth in a positive direction and hope for the best! AND I also draw pictures that we both look at and pretend to be scared of! It's fun! Here are some new finished artz from the last day or two...      I'm pretty dang happy with all of these! As I mentioned above, I'm primarily in this game for the FUN of it, and since all of these were entertaining to create... MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! If I make any of these into NFTs and they sell, that's bonus frosting on the ARTZ CAKE. To this day, this very hour, I don't know why so few people understand the pleasure involved in creation, whether it's drawing, writing, crafting, photography, film making, musicking, or whatever... I believe, at this point, that it's fundamentally a failure in our education system (brought about by a misunderstanding of or lack of appreciation for creative efforts by "normal folks" in the eyes of society at large. Art and creativity [and, sadly, critical thinking] are not properly valued, and thus are not TAUGHT correctly. My hope is that my efforts, in some small way, prove inspirational for at least a few individuals, perhaps tricking [influencing] them into becoming Makers, before all trace of my existence disintegrates into nothingness.
