I got my score up over 200 points and still getting better here is how I did it.
My score was very low in 500  the first thing I did was go to capital one. Com and got a secured  master card for 225 dollars 💵send them the money and they send you the card.
I would use it and pay it off  and it started making positive marks at the credit bureau's after a year i started getting offers for other cards in the mail , I looked for a good one with no yearly fee and lower interest and got it.
I kept getting good reports from them each month to the bureau and my score kept going up, it will go up every month if you pay on time and keep the balance low.
Then I got more credit cards  with no yearly fee and I don't use them very much but having more credit cards will help your score go up . 
My score is good now and getting better each month , I just applied for a new card from navy federal and got a 12,100 dollar card I was very happy to see my credit doing so much better.
Its easier than you think to improve your credit. 
Now I bought a brand new car🚗 the first brand new car I ever had its a kia soul very good on gas and great for my job 👍
