I used to live near Bath, and the NHS was absolutely brilliant when I had pneumonia and was hospitalised for a week! Now, we're back in Australia and I'm glad - our health care system is brilliant (at the moment, unless we follow America and England's lead). The one thing that a country needs to do is set health care as a priority - everything else needs to come second. The thought of having to pay for having a baby (U.S) and being in debt for getting sick, or dying because you don't have good healthcare or access to it is just deplorable.
