Running errands
Around here people usually plan on relaxing on Fridays and Saturdays, but it's quite the opposite for me. On Fridays I try to head out and run some errands, get some groceries maybe, check off a few things from that little list of mine.

Luckily for me, this time the list was quite short, mainly about two things that needed to be taken care of. The first was to acquire a bit of information that I needed to get from a certain shop at Jamuna Future Park, and the second was to get some "uncommon" goodies, which are only available in big branded grocery shops around here.

But when it was time to head out I just took a peek at the sky, and then I wasn't feeling quite lucky anymore. Just as I started walking, it started to rain. The "downpour" was quite random though, one minute it's raining quite heavily, and then suddenly it all vanishes into thin air.

After a short walk I managed to get on a rickshaw, which then helped me cover a bit of distance, while also saving me from getting drenched.

Thanks to this man and his quick reaction while handing me the water resistant sheet, I got to save my clothes from all the rain, and from the cars which were splashing water at us from those little puddles on the road.

After I reached my destination I gave him a well deserved tip, and also made sure he knew that he's doing a great job. His reaction and smile said it all.

After entering the premises I made my way to the fourth floor, which is actually the tech floor, then I just had to locate the little shop I was looking for.

I know people have a tough time finding the shops they're looking for in these big shopping malls, but I know this place better than the back of my hands.

It's quite easy actually, if you just pay attention then it's all quite easy to remember. Also, there's more than enough info provided that helps guide you quite well, but I myself have never had to look at a single sign, but the signs sure do help if you're someone who keeps on forgetting.

So, after getting that little info from the store owner, I was on my downstairs again.

After a few escalator rides I found myself here, two stories under the ground, clicking pictures in front of Wholesale Club.

Remember how I started off by saying how people here like to relax on a Friday? Well, there's actually two kinds of people here on a Friday, some just love kicking it back at home, and then we have the energetic bunch, the people who prefer spending a bit of time outside instead.

And it seems that we have a lazy bunch of staff members here in the mall, it has been a month since Eid 2022, yet all the decoration is lit up quite well haha. Maybe they're just keeping it well maintained and intact for Eid-ul-Adha, who knows.

As soon you enter the store, you can see that they surely do live up to their name. The word Wholesale goes quite well with this place, a lot of uncommon products, and quite a huge stock too.
But the price of the products weren't even close to the wholesale prices I've seen outside, they were quite expensive actually.

Yet, what can you do really? When you have a list of things you need to get, and as most of these things are quite scarce, you just have to "pay the price" I guess. At least the staff was kind enough, and they surely knew what they were doing.

The sad part is that no one is allowed to take pictures, by the time I managed to take these two clicks, they just shut me down haha. I don't know why they have such rules, seems a bit stupid to me, but hey, that's just me, I can bet that there's a good reason behind it all.

After about 30 minutes I was done with this week's grocery shopping. It usually takes me a lot less time to get everything and check out, but this place is huge, so you'll surely need to spend a bit of extra time browsing over here.

Well, that's about it for my Market Friday experience I guess. If you've managed to read till the end, then I must thank you for sticking around.

You folks take care now, till we meet again.

**Cheers** 🥃
