Quality vs Quantity
With so many new users coming that want a share of the reward pool we have to question ourselves, what’s more important, Quality or Quantity? You can’t have both. But what really matters if you choose for Quality or Quantity, are the different factors. Let’s break it down!

The important factors are Time and Money

Time and Money are the 2 things that are related to both Quality content or Quantity. When you take these 2 factors into account you get a feeling of which way you want to go. When you want to do something fast for money you make several articles and hope they get noticed. Because you did it fast you won’t earn as much since there is no value in it. When we look at examples on Steemit, the Quantity articles get less than $1. When you spend a lot of time into an article and really think about it and give it value it will cost you a lot of time but gives you a lot for it win return.

>
Example

> My first posts got me $0.04 each. I didn’t put any value and time into it because I wanted to post, post and post some more. They were pretty useless and the comments on that post were crap as well. Mainly ‘Great post’ while it wasn’t a great post. It was actually pretty crap. So I started thinking and I put more effort and time into it and saw my posts grow to $1+.

Bottom line

When you are writing and posting here on Steemit, what are you going for? Are you a person that goes for Quality or for Quantity? You have to set goals for yourself.

- If you want to teach the community something: Go for Quality
- If you want to earn a lot of money: Go for Quality
- If you don’t have time and want to earn a few cents: Go for Quantity

Take your time and enjoy writing and blogging here on steemit. When you want to create something or high quality it costs time. My Designing 101 episodes costed me 3 hour+ to have it good. It takes time and there are only so many hours in a day. 1 Post can be worth way more than 10 posts. But the most important thing is not your time or your money. You have to put your emotions in it, make it personal and accomplish new things. That is true motivation to keep going!
