And I think the best way to start is by telling you a little bit about this trip and leaving you with some pictures of the huge ship and then I will be showing you each destination. So here is the story of our adventure on that floating paradise called Monarch! It all began at the suggestion of some coworkers who had taken this cruise before, even one of them had gone on many occasions and every time I arrived her stories left me fascinated, so even though at that time to make a trip of that kind in our country was quite complicated, any effort would fall short of everything we enjoyed. And even if we had not gotten off the ship for the 7 days of the cruise, it would have been worth it, because the ship was beautiful, a 5 star hotel and we were not in first class, so I do not even want to imagine what it was like there! The Monarch is a huge cruise ship that has everything you need to have fun without getting off, which is necessary because there are days when you only see the sea, but honestly we didn't even realize we weren't getting off. Swimming pools, Jacuzzi, several bars and cafeterias, luxury restaurants, buffets distributed throughout the ship that offered delicious dishes at all hours of the day. A casino, theaters, discotheque, gymnasium, nursery and so on, made the days of cruising as enjoyable as the days when we went down to new destinations. Two Caribbean islands (Aruba and Curaçao) and two beautiful countries (Colombia and Panama). Of course the rides were hours long in each place so it was Amazing Race in real life. Literally running from one place to another to get to know as much as possible without the cruise ship leaving us, which was about to happen, and you have to follow me these days to find out where it was! Así que aquí va la historia de nuestra aventura en ése paraíso flotante llamado Monarch!* *Todo comenzó por sugerencia de unas compañeras de trabajo que habían tomado éste crucero anteriormente, incluso una de ellas había ido en muchas oportunidades y cada vez que llegaba sus historias me dejaban fascinada, por lo que a pesar que para ése entonces hacer un viaje de ése tipo en nuestro país era bastante complicado, cualquier esfuerzo se quedaría corto ante todo lo que disfrutamos*. *Y es que aún si no nos hubiésemos bajado del barco los 7 días días que duró la travesía, hubiese valido la pena, porque el barco era bellísimo, un hotel 5 estrellas y eso que nosotros no estábamos en primera clase, así que no quiero ni imaginar como era todo allá!* *El Monarch es un crucero inmenso que cuenta con todo lo que necesitas para divertirte sin necesidad de bajar de él, cosa que es necesaria pues hay días en los que sólo veías el mar, pero sinceramente ni nos dábamos cuenta que no bajábamos.* *Piscinas, jacuzzi, varios bares y cafeterías, restaurantes de lujo, bufetts distribuidos por todo el barco que te ofrecían platillos deliciosos a toda hora del día. Un casino, teatros, discoteca, gimnasio, guardería y pare de contar, hacían que los días de travesía se disfrutaran tanto como los días en que bajamos a conocer nuevos destinos.* *Dos islas del caribe (Aruba y Curazao) y dos países hermosos (Colombia y Panamá). Por supuesto los recorridos era de horas en cada lugar así que era Amazing Race en la vida real. Literalmente corriendo de un lado a otro para poder conocer lo más posible sin que el crucero nos dejara, cosa que estuvo a punto de suceder, y tienen que seguirme estos días para que se enteren donde fue!* *Por hoy me despido de ustedes amigos de #liketu.
