"Hey F@ggot don't do that"...was an expression back in the 80s that me and my teenage buddies would commonly use  when we were playfully fighting or in a mild argument.

### But Anymore...
if you use that you will get crucified by the general population !

### Remember this One...
"That is sooo Gay"....another catch phrase we used in the 80s to express our disapproval of something. It was no biggie and people used it all the time. Once again bring out the cross and bury it in one's skull if they  use that phrase today.

### Conclusion...
Is it bad that we scold people and even cause the loss of their employment for using words and phrases like the ones above ?? Maybe what  I say will NOT be popular, but I think rather than it being too  political correct I think it is a sign that our Society as a whole is growing and maturing in a very positive light.

##### Now hear me out... 
but much like the historical injustices that were done to people who had different color skin, we are realizing that some things we used to do or say are just wrong,  PERIOD !!  And it took us years to learn that. The feedback from those offended did not really resonant to us in the past. But it does now. I try to imagine myself as a homosexual living in today's society. If I heard these words thrown around so recklessly ( like they were in the 80s) I would definitely be offended.

So the way I look at it is will it really hurt me if I decide to not throw around these words at all. ?? And the answer is of course IT WON'T !!

End of story !!
