Are you a newcomer to Steemit? Don't know what to post anymore on Steemit? Well, if you have this million-dollar question, I'm gonna try my best to help you deal with it! In fact, I've seen some new Steemians who lost the battle even before it began! > _When the going gets tough, the tough keeps going! Trust me, I know!_ I was in the same shoe as you did. In fact, we Steemians are struggling with the same problem as you do. Trying our best to post not just a content, but a quality content. Though once you get the hang of it, trust me, the sky is the limit! **Foreword** Dear newcomers, when I first started Steemit, I was so excited to post. I posted a few posts and then that's it! I quickly dried out of ideas. I didn't know what went wrong. I kept on struggling to post but eventually, it didn't work out. Sounds familiar right? Yeah, that's you! You have to take note, Steemit yearns for quality content. **_But, the next question is how?_** **Your Starting Point** The first key ingredient is to know the fundamental of Steemit. Not just the platform itself, but the whole picture of blockchain and cryptocurrency. Once you understand that Steemit is just the tip of the iceberg, your mind will be blown away! I'm not gonna explain that here. I will leave that fact to other Steemians! But, if you really desperate, you can check out my buddy [@danieldoughty](https://steemit.com/@danieldoughty). He is the founder of SteemXP. A community that has really helped me move forward. In fact, this post is an inspiration to a recent Steemit Masterclass I attended some 2 weeks ago by SteemXP community. Dear Newcomers, essentially, there are vast technique, styles or even method you can find throughout your journey in Steemit. But, I would really love to share my tips because I feel it will be beneficial to other Steemians who were just like me especially the ones who just recently on-board. **Tip 1 - Express Yourself** If you don't already know, Steemit intercorporate so many decentralized apps. I'm sure you can find a few that will suit your mind and soul. The most basic itself is Steemit blog. This one platform itself is enough to create a few quality contents. If you don't like its UI, you always have other options such as Partiko, ESteem and so much more. Now, you can continue blogging to your heart's content. Make sure to write something that is real to you, something that touches your heart or something you want to share! Honesty is the best weapon you have to be expressive. If you like about food, write it. If you like about music, blog it. Choose a topic that really describes your passion. We Steemians will wholeheartedly appreciate those posts! **Tip 2 - Explore** _Never put eggs in one basket_. Make sure to diversify your contents. Don't limit yourself to only one platform. Yes, you may continue to do so, but eventually, at some point in time, ideas will somehow stop pouring. Up until today, I am still mesmerized the beauty of Steemit. In case you run out of ideas on blogging, there are other things you can do to post! There are other DApps that can help you push out your ideas! Steemit allows different DApps to interactive with each other. This means you can use other DApps such as Musing, Tasteem and DTaste but still appear in Steemit. Use other DApps to amplify your blogs! That's the beauty of Steemit. Cool right? **Tip 3 - Engagement** Now that you know how awesome this platforms are, don't forget to engage with the Steemit community. This is for me a crucial part! Talk to other Steemians and learn from them. It's another way to build your own community. Remember, Steemit is a community-driven platform. Everything is all about us. The more we engage, the more we know that Steemit is so much more than just a blog! Other people can help you on this journey. **Tip 4 - Educate** I'm pretty sure, at this very moment, you were once demotivated when you see some of your posts didn't get much attention as you hoped it would be! Don't be! Let go of your ego and self-righteousness. Be ready to learn something new! Learn from your mistake. Learn what went wrong in that post be it with the language, photos or perhaps even the video. I continuously improve my posting by learning from other posts. Willingness to learn and stand corrected is the key to move forward. **Tip 5 - Enjoy** Ultimately, this journey must be enjoyed! The community is here to support you. Reach out to them! Make sure to put the joy of writing in your post! I bet the journey will be awesome ahead for you! That's it! I hope this post can _Empower_ other Steemians especially the newcomer on this beautiful journey of Steemit. If no one has never welcomed you when you just started, **I personally welcome you on-board** > **Dear Steemians, I am doing my part to empower other Newcomers in the hopes to inspire them in this journey. I hope to reach out as many newcomers as possible! Till then, keep on posting!** > > > ---
