Since time immemorial people have been falling in love .
              When one falls in love one gets intoxicated, even to the extaent of forgetting one's immediate surround-ings . Love is a heardy potion.. One becomes drunk and abset-minded. One is lost most of the time dreaming about one's lover and is so overpowered by love that one risks one's life in reaching out to the loved one. One does not want to lose sight of one's beloved. Love is the most powerful force in man.
   To love someone is to convey one's irresistible desire of acquiring emotional and physial contact with one's beloved . Falling in love is natural. I am deeply in love with God and intoxiated by it. The separation from Him is painful.
  God is not a concept. God is a fact, an intangible reality. Not to believe in a Creator is at one's own peril. Still, a large number, if not a mjority, do not believe in one. I used to wonder why there were agnostics and atheists in this world . I used to deeply think for the cause that led to disbelief in God. After years of wondering and contemplation I found the answer. It is man's ego

            Man thinks he is the Doer. All his actions in life give him a feeling as if he is the doer. yes,many things  like eating , sleeping ,working etc. are simple actions which are initiated by man but hapenings or situations like death, disease, suffering and sorrow are beyond man's control. If man was the Doer Then man would not do himself  unto death, man would not do himself unto disease , man would not do himself unto suffering, man would not do himself unto sorrow. Someone else is the Doer. The Creative force is the Doer. Call  it by any name but the Doer is the one who is beyond the binding of time and matter. 
              Ego ,   thy name is man . Even though bound by time and matter man possesses  great intellect and energy , some times giving him  a feeling of boundless potential. potent he is but not omnipotent. present  he is but not   omnipresent. Scientist he is but no omniscient. Man's ego gives him such a false sense of  greatness that he begins to feel that he is here to stay in this world permanently. This perishable commodity ,  called man, totally  forgets that  He is in a transitory phase of existence. That life is ephemeral. He is lost in his ego, forgetting that he will have to depart from this world sooner or later. death comes unanounced and unceremoniously. And. unlike other occasions, there are no celebrations to follow. death numbs and silences families, people and societies. it is the burial of the ego with finality. the great ego that gives man a feeling of loftiness is smothered mercilessly by death to everlasting silence. then what good is it to live in a bloated ego? what good is it to disbelieve in a Creator? is it not preferable then to live an egoless life and merge in the Eternal One while living? Make your judgement consciously and judiciously.
