# With each passing day robots are becoming part of our daily lives and activities. Some robots, powered by AI, are already doing things just like us. 

##### For example, [a robot](https://www.reuters.com/article/us-japan-robotpriest/in-japan-robot-for-hire-programed-to-perform-buddhist-funeral-rites-idUSKCN1B3133) in Japan is now holding Buddhist funeral ceremonies. In the United States, for several months already, a robot-watchkeeper has been on duty to carry out crimes. China, according to Goldman Sachs, will overtake the United States in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics in just a few years, CNBC said.
