Our dear steemian, @flamingirl decided to host another cool photo contest, [Macro-Photography Contest #3](https://steemit.com/macrophoto-contest/@flamingirl/win-30-steem-7-days-macro-photography-contest-3-announcement-and-rules). This awesome theme makes us pay more attention to details and to the tiny things surrounding us. 

My entry for day 4 is a photo I took this Spring with my Huawei P20 smartphone while wondering around the mountain. One of the things I noticed is that barbed wire is still being used to keep away the livestock or to mark property. 
A really cheap alternative to building proper fences, the barbed wire is still being used all over the world. Unfortunately... 
What can I say? I dream about the day when this will be just an awesome subject for photographers, an old thing available in museums.
