In battles with the **Born Again Ruleset**, all Monsters have the **Rebirth Ability**. When a **Monster with the Rebirth Ability** dies, it will self-resurrect with 1 Health once per battle.

At the beginning of the article, I would like to talk generally about my strategy in battles with the **Born Again ruleset**. First of all, whenever I have the opportunity, I always use at least one **Gladiator** **card** because they can be very effective in battles with the Born Again Ruleset. I especially prefer those with double attacks or two types of attacks. Secondly, I place great emphasis on using the **Martyr Ability**. If I can use the Glaciator card and the Martyr Ability correctly, that is, if I can include them in my lineup correctly, it can be incredibly easy to win the battle. This is my most preferred strategy and I will talk about it in this article.

- **Born Again** : All Monsters have the Rebirth ability.
- **Fire & Regret**: All Monsters have the Return Fire ability.

**Rebirth Ability** : When this Unit dies it will self-resurrect with 1 Health once per battle.
**Return Fire Ability** : When hit with a Ranged attack, Units with Return Fire will return half the damage (rounded up) back to their attacker.

<center>**MY STRATEGY**</center>

Since the battle has the **Born Again ruleset**, All Monsters will have the **Rebirth ability**, and since it has the **Fire & Regret ruleset**, all Monsters will have the **Return Fire ability** in this battle.

Before starting the battle, when I reviewed the recent 5 battles of the opponent player, it was very difficult for me to predict what strategy the opponent player would use, but I could predict that the opponent player would use a Gladiator card.

First of all, since I will be using a gladiator card in this battle, I chose **Lobb Lowland** as the **Summoner**. Additionally, thanks to Lobb Lowland, the speed of all enemy monsters will be reduced by -1.

I'll choose **Katrelba Gobson** as the Gladiator since it costs 6 mana and has the **Double Strike Ability**. I will also use the **Martyr Ability**. Actually, I wanted to add 2 Monsters with the Martyr Ability to my team, but since I believed that extra armor would be more useful to my team in this battle, I thought one would be enough. I'will choose **Fungus Flinger** because it has the **Blind Ability**.

I will add **Queen Mycelia**, who has the **Protect Ability**, to my team. Thanks to the Protect Ability, all monsters in my team would have extra +2 armor. 

And considering that there may be **Katrelba Gobson** in the opposing team, I will put **Mycelic Morphoid** with **Thorns Ability** in the last position. In the first position I will put **Hill Giant**, which costs only 3 mana and has 8 health. I reached the mana limit, but I had the chance to add another card to my team, so I added **Fungus Fiend**, which costs 0 mana, to my team.

<center>**Summoner : LOBB LOWLAND**</center>

**Lobb Lowland** is an **Earth Summoner** that reduces the speed of all enemy monsters by 1 and allows the use of one additional Gladiator card in battle.

<center>**Position 1: HILL GIANT**</center>

**Hill Giant** is an Earth Monster that can attack the target with Melee Attacks. Since it only costs 3 mana and has 8 health, I added Hill Giant to my team and put it in the first position.

<center>**Position 2: FUNGUS FIEND**</center>

**Fungus Fiend** is a **Earth Monster** that can attack the target with a Melee Attack. Since it costs 0 mana, I added Fungus Fiend to my team and put it in the second position.

<center>**Position 3: FUNGUS FLINGER**</center>

**Fungus Flinger** is a Earth Monster that can attack the target with a ranged attack and has **Martyr Ability** and **Blind Ability** at level 5. I put Fungus Flinger in the third position next to **Katrelba Gobson**.

- **Martyr Ability** : When this Unit dies, adjacent Units get +1 to all stats.
- **Blind Ability** : All enemy Melee & Ranged attacks have a 15% higher chance of missing their target.

<center>**Position 4: KATRELBA GOBSON**</center>

**Katrelba Gobson** is a Gladiator that can attack the target with Melee Attacks and has the **Bloodlust Ability**, **Sneak Ability**, **Double Strike Ability** and **Snare Ability** at level 5. Katrelba Gobson is a Gladiator with really powerful abilities and can be very effective in such battles, so I do not hesitate to add her to my team in such battles. And since I believed that she would destroy the opposing team's, starting from the enemy in the last position, I added her to my team. And I put Katrelba Gobson in the fourth position.


- **Bloodlust Ability** : This Monster revels in the glory of combat and becomes more dangerous as the battle goes on. Every time it defeats an opponent, it gets +1 to all stats.
- **Sneak Ability** : Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit.
- **Double Strike Ability** : This unit attacks twice each round.
- **Snare Ability** : When attacking enemies with Flying, removes the Flying ability and cannot miss.

<center>**Position 5: QUEEN MYCELIA**</center>

**Queen Mycelia** is an **Earth Monster** that can attack the target with a Magic Attack and has **Protect Ability** at level 1. Since I believed that armor would be of great benefit to my team in this battle, I added Queen Mycelia to my team, and thanks to her Protect Ability, all monsters in my team would have extra +2 armor. I put Queen Mycelia in the fifth position.

- **Protect Ability** : All friendly Units gain +2 Armor.

<center>**Position 6: MYCELIC MORPHOID**</center>

**Mycelic Morphoid** is an **Earth Monster** that can attack the target with a Melee Attack and has the Thorns Ability from level 3. I put it in the last position, especially considering that the opposing team might have Sneak Monsters with Melee Attacks.

- **Thorns Ability** : When hit with a Melee attack, does 2 Melee damage back to the attacker.

Frankly, I am not surprised that the opposing player prefers Katrelba Gobson and the Martyr Ability, but I can say that I am glad that the Monsters on the opposing team do not have armor.

**Round 1**

Katrelba Gobson managed to destroy the opposing team's Mycelic Morphoid twice, thus getting +1 to all her stats twice.​ Katrelba Gobson on the opposing team managed to destroy the Mycelic Morphoid on my team twice, but she also died because she had no armor. And they both brought back to life with 1 health. This meant that Katrelba Gobson would die in her next attack. That's why I attach great importance to armoring all the monsters in my team in these types of battles.

**Round 2**

My team's Katrelba Gobson managed to destroy another monster from the opposing team, but the opposing team's Katrelba Gobson was destroyed by the back damage from the Thorns after hitting the Mycelic Morphoid. This meant that the opposing team lost the battle in the second round.

**Round 3**

Katrelba Gobson reveled in the glory of combat and becomes more dangerous as the battle goes on. In the third round, she destroyed 2 monsters from the opposing team and got +1 to all her stats twice. At the end of the third round, the opposing team has only 2 monsters left.

**Round 4**

In the fourth round, the last 2 monsters on the opposing team were destroyed and my team managed to win this battle.

At the end of the battle, **Katrelba Gobson** had **10 Melee Attack**, **9 Speed**, **6 Armor**, and **11 Health**, which was admirable.

It was noteworthy that although the battle had the Born Again ruleset, it lasted only 4 rounds. At the end of the battle, while all the monsters on the opposing team were destroyed, all the monsters on my team were alive, which showed that my strategy worked quite well. Frankly, the fact that I used the **Protect Ability** in this battle and all the monsters in my team had +2 armor and the monsters in the opposing team had no armor allowed me to win this difficult battle quite easily. That's why I attach great importance to armoring all the monsters in my team in these types of battles.
