**BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge**

https://images.hive.blog/DQmRHqPhLvUU1ETgeRi4oaHryudo2ee9MnQLgzFJgpgmp2N/supersneakruleset.png
RULESET: Super Sneak

Description:

All melee units gain the Sneak ability.

Click for More

In battles with the **Super Sneak Ruleset**, all Melee Attack Monsters have the **Sneak ability**, and **Monsters with the Sneak Ability** target the last position Monster on the enemy team instead of the first position Monster. I would like to say that the Super Sneak ruleset is one of my favorite rulesets, and in battles with this ruleset, I usually put a Monster that can defend well or a Monster with Thorns Ability in the last position. Additionally, in this ruleset, I place great emphasis on using Melee Attack Monsters with the Double Strike Ability and Melee Attack Monsters with two types of attack power. In short, defending powerfully in the last position against Sneak Monsters always works very well, which is why I attach great importance to this in the **Super Sneak ruleset**. And, I would like to point out that the other rulesets in the battle and the opposing player's recent battles helped me decide what strategy to choose. I would also like to point out that Rebellion pre-sale opportunities are still ongoing, there are approximately 19 days or 213,355 Rebellion packs left until the pre-sale ends. My goal is to buy as many bulk Rebellion packs as I can before the pre-sale ends. [If you want to take a look at the Rebellion pre-sale, click here.](https://next.splinterlands.com/shop/packs) I will share my most interesting battle today with the Super Sneak ruleset, I hope you like it.
**BATTLE**

https://youtu.be/jG_Dzu_6jf4
 [Battle Link](https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sl_c7088a001d4449c0c817b3dbc798b23b&ref=rtonline)
**Battle Ruleset**

- **Super Sneak**: All Melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability. - **Equalizer**: The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health. - **Born Again**: All Monsters have the Rebirth ability. **Sneak Ability** : Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit. **Rebirth Ability** : When this Montser dies it will self-resurrect with 1 Health once per battle
**MY STRATEGY**
Before starting the battle, when I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player, I saw that they had very powerful cards and I knew that I would be fighting against a Level 6 Summoner in this battle. To be honest, I had little chance of winning this battle with Melee Attack Monsters, so I needed much better strategy. I had a little more chance of winning this battle with Magic Attack Monsters so I will use Magic Attack Monsters. Also, I needed to have a powerful defense in the last position and I believe Regal Peryton will defend very powerfully against Sneak Monsters so I will put Regal Peryton in the target of Sneak Monsters. I'll also put Fungus Flinger with the Martyr Ability next to Regal Peryton to increase its stats. After Fungus Flinger died, Regal Peryton would receive +1 to all stats. I will also put Djinn Biljka in the last position, since Djinn Biljka has the Camouflage Ability, it would not be the target of Sneak Monsters. I will also use the Protect Ability as I think it will be useful for all monsters in my team to have +2 armor in this battle. I will also choose Obsidian as the summoner so that Magic Attack Monsters can attack the target more powerfully.
**LINE UP**

https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Obsidian_lv3.png

**Summoner : OBSIDIAN**
**Obsidian** is a **Earth Summoner** that gives **+1 Magic Attack** to all friendly **Magic Attack Monsters**. Since I will be using Magic Attack Monsters in this battle, I chose Obsidian as the summoner, so they can attack their targets more powerfully.
https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Fungus%20Fiend_lv2.png

**Position 1: FUNGUS FIEND**
Since Fungus Fiend costs 0 mana, I can say that I added it to the team and put it in the first position.
https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Venari%20Spellsmith_lv3.png

**Position 2: VENARI SPELLSMITH**
**Venari Spellsmith** is a **Neutral Monster** that can attack the target with **Magic Attack** and has **Dispel Ability**. The most important reasons why I added Venari Spellsmith to the team were that it costs 4 mana and has the Dispel Ability, and I put it in the second position. Thanks to the Dispel Ability, it would be able to clear all the positive status effects of the enemy monster in the first position. **Dispel Ability** : When this monster hits an enemy, it clears all positive status effects on that enemy.
https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Queen%20Mycelia_lv1.png

**Position 3: QUEEN MYCELIA**
**Queen Mycelia** is a **Earth Monster** that can attack the target with **Magic Attack** and has **Protect Ability** at level 1. The most important reason why I added Queen Mycelia to the team was that it had the Protect Ability, so all monsters in my team would have extra +2 armor. - **Protect Ability** : All friendly Units gain +2 Armor.
https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Regal%20Peryton_lv3_gold.png

**Position 4: REGAL PERYTON**
**Regal Peryton** is a **Earth Monster** that can attack the target with **Magic Attacks** and has **Flying Ability**. The most important reason why I added Regal Peryton to the team was that it had 6 speed and Flying Ability, so I believed that it could defend very powerfully against Sneak Monsters. - **Flying Ability** : Has a 25% bonus chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Units who do not have the Flying ability.
https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/soulbound/Fungus%20Flinger_lv4.png

**Position 5: FUNGUS FLINGER**
**Fungus Flinger** is a **Earth Monster** that can attack the target with **Ranged Attack** and has **Martyr Ability**. The main reason I added Fungus Flinger to the team was because it has the Martyr Ability, and when Fungus Flinger dies, adjacent monsters would get +1 to all stats. - **Martyr Ability** : When this Unit dies, adjacent Units get +1 to all stats.
https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Djinn%20Biljka_lv2.png

**Position 6: DJINN BILJKA**
**Djinn Biljka** is a **Earth Monster** that can attack the target with **Magic Attacks** and has **Camouflage Ability**. The most important reason why I added Djinn Biljka to the team was that it cost 3 mana and had the Camouflage Ability. Thanks to the Camouflage Ability, it cannot be directly targeted for attacks unless it's in the first position. Thanks to the Fungus Flinger, all the stats of Djinn Biljka would also increase. And I put Djinn Biljka in the last position. Of course, if the opposing team also has melee attack monsters, this strategy will work very well. - **Camouflage Ability** : This Unit cannot be directly targeted for attacks unless it's in the first position.
**BATTLE COMMENTS**

https://youtu.be/jG_Dzu_6jf4
You can watch the full battle from the video or from the [Battle Link](https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sl_c7088a001d4449c0c817b3dbc798b23b&ref=rtonline) **Round 1** In the first round, both teams' attacks were quite effective, but I can say that the opponent team's attacks were more effective, the enemy monsters managed to destroy Fungus Flinger, but it was brought back to life with 1 health. Frankly, destroying the Fungus Flinger was part of my strategy, I already knew that it would be destroyed very easily. **Round 2** At the beginning of the second round, the enemy monsters managed to destroy the Fungus Flinger and Regal Peryton and Djinn Biljka got +1 to all their stats twice, which was exactly what I wanted. Frankly, it would be very difficult for the enemies to survive against Regal Peryton and Djinn Biljka. In the second round, a monster from the opposing team was also destroyed. **Round 3** In the third round, Regal Peryton managed to evade 3 out of 4 attacks and everything was going my way. Additionally, Regal Peryton and Djinn Biljka's attacks were very brutal, and while one more monster on the opposing team was destroyed, 5 monsters on my team were still alive. **Round 4** In the fourth round, Regal Peryton managed to evade 2 out of 3 attacks, enemies were having a hard time damaging Regal Peryton, which prevented the opposing player's strategy from working. Even though all monsters had high health, the enemies had a hard time surviving against the powerful attacks of Regal Peryton and Djinn Biljka, and in the fourth round, another monster on the opposing team was destroyed. **Round 5** Notably, Screeching Vulture had 16 health, but it was also very difficult for it to survive against Regal Peryton and Djinn Biljka. At the end of the fifth round, Screeching Vulture only had 1 health left, meaning it would be destroyed in the next round. **Round 6** In the sixth round, while another monster from the opposing team was destroyed, 5 monsters on my team were still alive. **Round 7** Regal Peryton performed truly magnificently in this battle, to be honest I did not expect it to survive until the end of the battle. Although the enemies were quite powerful, they failed to destroy Regal Peryton in 7 rounds. In the seventh round, one more monster from the opposing team was destroyed, leaving only one monster on the opposing team. **Round 8** In the eighth round, only Vampire Bat was left on the opposing team and it was not very difficult to destroy it and my team managed to easily win this very difficult battle. It was noteworthy that although the battle cost 23 mana, it lasted 8 rounds. To be honest, the opposing player's strategy was good too, but my strategy worked much better. Especially using the Martyr Ability and then putting Regal Peryton in the target of Sneak Monsters was very useful in this battle. That's why I love using Regal Peryton defensively in these types of battles, it can really defend very powerfully, especially against melee attack monsters. At the end of the battle, while all the monsters on the opposing team were destroyed, only Fungus Flinger from my team could be destroyed, and the destruction of Fungus Flinger was already part of my strategy. I recommend you to watch this great and challenging battle from the Battle Link. I hope you will like it.
**BATTLE RESULTS**

https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/carrieallen/b2DaEIe4-Text20divider20-20red20black.gif
What are your thoughts on the battle and my strategy?
