If am being truthful ever since I came to hive splinterlands has been the game that I’ve wanted to play. The game play didn’t attract me to the game at first but what attracted me was the graphics. Am not gonna lie but the team has done such an amazing job at the graphics. From how the cards look to how the interface of the game itself looks. 

From the outside sl looks like the most difficult game in the world; at least this was how I looked at it all though I did wanna play it. Somehow sl is not my first hive game. I started playing the discord-based game S&S and then about two to three weeks ago I started playing terracore too. I’ve enjoyed terracore a lot but then ever since I started playing sl I seem to be enjoying it more too. 

I don’t know a lot about the game yet but then ever since I left the bronze III stage I seem to be winning more battles. I started in the novice league where I was told by a friend you don’t earn anything there which in all honesty I didn’t care about. He said I could only get chest if I made it to the bronze league and above. 

I was so confused that I had to watch YouTube videos. I like relying on YouTube for everything especially if I am confused. Fortunately, there is a lot of information about splinterlands available on YouTube. I watched a few videos; especially on things like how to identify the cards, how to make your line up and also which cards are strong for each stage that I am in. 

After a while, I didn’t have much difficulty in the novice stage as I cruised through it the same day. But then I realised the bronze level is even harder. In bronze III, I suffered a lot before even getting a single chest. In the whole of the bronze III stage, I was only able to gain one chest in the whole of that stage. I did try to get more chest in the new season but then as soon as I started winning more I got into bronze II stage. 

Well, I seem to be enjoying the game more as I do play it a lot in a day but then I need to get more cards. I have enough credits which I am using for renting a few cards. For now, I’ve only rented Djinn Oshanus and Kron the Undying. I only rented the djinn oshanus today but I rented the kron undying yesterday and they seem to be doing the trick. 

I don’t want to use up more of my credits cause I know the more I level up the more it because difficult so am really taking my time. 

For now, all I know is Splinterlands hasn’t disappointed me. The game looks boring cause you have to look at cards fighting against each other but the moment you start winning more you’ll enjoy playing the game more and more. For people who play chess, I know they’ll enjoy it a lot hehe.
