The cool thing about today's side hustle is it didn't even start out as a business. It started out with Bob's wife Barb making a sweater for herself. The sweater was white and had stitching which looked like a baseball. One day while at a Phillies game women kept comming up to Barb asking her about her sweater, where they could get one, etc and that is how the business was born. Rather than using Alibaba to source a manufacturer Bob already had a VA in Asia he used for web design and other projects so he had them reach out to suppliers on his behalf. A few months later the shirts were in. In addition to selling on their ecommerce site, they bring sweaters to games and typically sell a few, at least enough to cover their tickets and beer tab. The business has improved their life. Not only is the extra money good but it gives Bob and his wife something they can do together. Hope you guys enjoy today's episode of Side Hustle Thursdays
