I currently live in Visalia California, but I was born and raised in Exeter California.  I was born one year before Joseph James DeAngelo was hired as an Exeter Police Officer.

The family and I drove to Exeter yesterday afternoon, and I drove by the old Exeter Police department,  that is now a museum.

Exeter is known as the Naval Orange Capitol, and I was raised on Naval oranges.

Joseph James DeAngelo and I are separated by one degree of separation, because I know retired Exeter police officer Farrel Ward, who worked with Joseph James DeAngelo.
