Kind regards,LOH and huge thanks to @deraa for the invite, this is the first contest I'll be participating in and I'm a little bit edgy... So I'll be answering the first question:What is your favorite thing about this time of the year?

November, when the cold is subtly gracing us with it's presence,is the beginning of the dry season in Nigeria. It is characterized by cool dry wind that blows from the Sahara desert, especially in Jos(a state in Nigeria) where the cold here is like that of winter. This is the time of the year when your skin break, your lips become chapped and you can be handpicked from a crowd as someone who didn't take a bath,lol. I particularly love this time of the year because of how everyone seem to glow owning to the weather and the high water intake to stay hydrated. This is the time of the year when you talk and the wind take your words and run away with it. Also, tomatoes, carrots, pineapples, grapes, guavas and sugarcane strive during this time of the year, yipeeeee and we are blessed with free food preservation.

How can I forget the Christmas anticipation? I can already hear carols playing by the roadside and people singing along excitedly. This is the period of mass purchase of what we tag 'christmas clothes' because prices go outrageously high the longer you wait. It's a festive season and the eagerness here is contagious, infact I and my roommates are singing Alvin and the Chipmunk's Christmas song aloud. November never disappoints.
