I got very briefly stuck when I found out that I don't think I can do a double loop with the tail with five controllers.

Firstly there was a lot of keyframe shenanigans which I kind of just did but didn't really need to stress about that much for a rig test (but I kind of had to do it because I KNOW).

 I generally avoid frame by frame like the plague but sometimes it's a thing that has to be done apparently.

I've had to accept the tail clipping into the ground because I can't get it to do what I want and I think there will be some time spent trying to find the optimal number of tail controllers that will let me get as many loops as I need whenever I need them.  But for now this is a rig test animation and I found a problem which will need fixing which is what the purpose was and while I should also probably learn to replace animations at some point I've decided now is not the time due to the perpetual need of getting stuff done.

Currently I think seven should be fine but I may need nine or ten.

Freaking prehensile tails.

The last couple of weeks has been constant activity as my parents came up as they had to leave from and come back here on their Canada trip, so we saw them briefly before they left and after they came back.  Then they went home on pretty much the same plane as sibling dearest arrived on.  Sibling dearest needed to go emergency shopping last week for new shoes as hers had broken, then we went on the weekend for an unexpectedly long shopping trek.  I don't normally go shopping on weekends as it's usually insane but she needed to go to the Apple store to get an Apple Pencil replaced and the Apple store is in a relatively quiet shopping centre (compared to a bigger one that we usually go to) so I'd agreed and figured it's a pretty quick errand.  Somehow managed to completley forget that we were in a shopping centre and she wouldn't want to leave after the quick errand so we were there half the day shopping.

I don't understand how people like shopping and peope that like shopping have been unable to explain it to me.

I guess it's kind of like liking 3d.

Either way the usual of everything ate into my extremely limited project work time but at least it was mostly good stuff for a change.

I recently had one of my usual burnout meltdowns.  It would be nice to be able to just do a reset if I need to do a reset without having one of them first x_x

I might also attempt to do some [Hand Written](https://peakd.com/c/hive-115590/created) posts soon both because it looks like fun and on the off-chance I post more than stupid non-progblogs but will see what actually happens in real life x_x
