After considering for quite some time whether I found Steemmonsters interresting enough to play I realised something important. I used to like to play Magic the gathering a lot. Seems to me that the strategizing part is reflected in Steemmonsters quite well. For this reason I purchased a starter kit to see whether the game was fun without spending tons of steem on Booster packs.

So, was it? Let's find out.

With the starter kit it was quite tough to win the initial few battles. Now that I spent a few days in the game and won my first two or three booster packs and some new cards have started appearing it has become better. In the beginning there were quite a few battles involved in winning a daily quest. Now winning one of those daily struggles costs me roughly 30 minutes. And the times that I do lose it is mainly because of my strategy, not necessarily because someone else just has cards which blow mine out of the water.

Nothing too fancy but it is a start. And tomorrow I will go back to my travel blogging as usual :)
