Beginning last Thursday, 27 October, the school has been busy for the preparation for the ***Reformation Celebration*** on 31st October. The ITNOL, a group of more or less 15 artists partnered with the school to hold the ***8th Charity Art Exhibit*** and agreed that 50% of the proceeds will go to scholarships. I consider the event successful for the coordinator who is also my cousin shared with me yesterday that the group was able to donate $1,300.00 USD for the scholarship program. He also presented the painting below as a gift to the school:

In the afternoon, I delivered a lecture on *Soli Deo Gloria and the Expanding Power of the State.* After defining two key ideas such as the meaning of *Soli Deo Gloria* and *Statism*, I argued based on both the paternal and the Messianic characters of civil government that the State is indeed experiencing exponential growth in our time in terms of power and influence. I then proceed to identify the destructive sociological, political, and psychological consequences of such growth and concluded with a proposed solution and the identification of the legitimate functions of state officials. 

The event ended late in the afternoon. Due to my participation in the program, naturally, I was not able to do my usual daily Hive activity such as checking hiveblocks.com, ecency.com, hivestats.io, leofinance.io, coinmarkets.today, and listnerds.com. I also failed to comment and upvote posts. Nevertheless, despite being busy, I managed to power up 1 HIVE as part of my PUM goal and I was also able to participate in Brawl.

As for the growth of my HIVE power, you can see that I am only short of 5 HIVE to reach 1,100. After powering up 10 HIVE a while ago, I added a total of 109 HIVE to my stakes. 11.05% increase is not bad in a month particularly considering the lingering bearish sentiment in the crypto space.
