### Rewarding Trusted Business Guides

#### Who are trusted business guides?

- Trusted Business Guides are Hive Users.
- They go to businesses & convince them to accept payment in HBD/BTC.
- They help setup the Business Hive Account, Keychain, Guidance etc.
- They educate Business owners about the whole eco-system.
- In short, Trusted Business Guides perform a key-role.

#### What do Trusted Business Guides get?

- For the work they do, they must be rewarded.
- We have designed & implemented a unique system.
- From each distriator-claimable-amount, 2.5% is allocated to Trusted business guides.

#### Where are we with rewarding them?

- Rewarding - Trusted Business Guides - is implemented today
- So far we have done one test & it went success.
- It's been moved to production & it's live.
- For each claim, business guides will get a small cut
- Above screenshot illustrates the same.

#### How does it work?

- In this example, user was supposed to get 35%
- Instead of giving 35%, user is given 32.50%
- And 2.5% is allocated to Business guides.
- If there are more than one trusted business guides a business, 2.5% will be equally divided to all the trusted business guides.

- With this, each trusted business guide is aware of what-how-where-when.

## Rewarding Hive Content Creators

- I support several contests hosted by different communities.
- I reward them with Hive-Power-up for the contribution that they have made on communities on Hive.
- We keep transferring portion of hive power to different users on Hive for encouraging them for their contribution on Hive.
- Those who respond to our replies, we also reward them with different tokens like ALIVE, PIZZA, BEER, LUV
- No power ups were sent today.

## Updates: [Video Encoder Nodes](https://github.com/spknetwork/video-encoder)

- I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
- Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
- On 2024-06-12, 3Speak published total 130 videos.
- My video encoder nodes encoded 108 videos from 130 videos published.
- It means, my encoder nodes encoded 83.08 % of total videos published on 2024-06-12
