While browsing CoinMarketCap today, I noticed a new 'Ratings' feature added to their website which CMC termed as FCAS - Fundamental Crypto Asset Score. FCAS helps to measure cryptocurrency project's health by taking into account factors such as User Activity, Developer Behavior and Market Maturity.

### At the time of writing this post, below are the ratings given to top cryptocurrency projects:
###
**Bitcoin** - Rated A with 885 points
**Ethereum** - Rated S with 909 points
**XRP** - Rated A with 751 points
**Litecoin** - Rated A with 756 points
**EOS** - Rated S with 914 points
**Bitcoin Cash** - Rated C with 532 points
**Stellar** - Rated B with 722 points
**Tron** - Rated A with 880 points
**Cardano** - Rated A with 826 points

**Surprisingly, Steem was rated C with a below par score of 543**. Although I don't think these ratings gives a clear picture about the fundamentals of a project but it is still a nice indicator to have to compare different cryptocurrencies.

Let me know your thoughts on this new feature introduced by CMC. Do you think it is helpful? If so, do you think Steem is rated fairly? Also, do share the ratings for your favorite projects in the comment section below.
