In this video, we explore the "Ready position"
A non-threating defensive posture.

-The ready position should be non-aggressive. Remember this is self-protection and protection of others
-One slight step back is needed for mobility. Do not get caught flat-footed.
-To escape the wrist grab drop your weight by bending the knees.
turn your palm out to take advantage of the opponent's natural weakness in the grip.
-Cupped palm strikes to the ears can be very damaging as it bursts the eardrums and disrupts the balance. It is very easy to achieve this with little force.
-Once you are free keep moving to restrain or RUN!
-As always,
Practice with safety in mind and use with care, Train Well!
