This one came out in 1965, and I dare say, there is Dosteovesky to it that makes it heavier than anything Beatle or Stones at this time. I think Ray knew it, too,;  That chord progression....my goodness...God bless the Queen, and God Bless the Kinks...

Odd that the Walker Brothers were at the backend of that Kink clip, but I immediately thought of their song that I tracked down years ago.  It wants to sound like the Rightgeous Brothers, but good old Scotty takes it a bit further.  Don't ask...don't go down the Scott Walker rabbit hole as I might have...
