Happy Sunday: Sharing my insights on what I read at Our Daily Bread
Good day Hivers! This is my first post here in this community, I hope you’re doing good today. As the morning comes, it’s a reminder for me that everyday is a blessing that comes from our Almighty. Since I joined hive community, everyday I always think of a post that could inspire others. So today I want to share with you this book I always read every day. It’s a part of my daily devotion; this book is called “Our daily bread”. Today is Sunday but I couldn’t go to church today because my husband just undergone to surgery, and he really needs my help right now since he was still recovering so I just read a book aside from the Bible, “Our daily bread” is a book where there is also a verse from the bible and there is a real-life story shared that is related to the verse.

Today February 16, 2025, the verse that I read was at Ephesians 4:2 “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."
My insight about the verse is a reminder to me to be humble and gentle, being a mom was really a tough job. Every day I was test to be gentle in my words, actions because it was a crucial stage right now to my children because it’s a stage where they accumulate every word that they hear and actions that they see especially to me as a mom. I make effort to be the best version of myself everyday so that my children would follow what they see to me. Every day I face some spiritual battle, I was being impatient sometimes because I overworked myself, afterwards I find myself guilty and I humbly ask for forgiveness. Being patient to my kids was a challenge to me, they are still learning to things so I always calm myself and find a way to be more patient and handle them. They were very wild sometimes that it really tests my patience. So, every time I feel that I would explode, I just pray quietly and focus to God even for a minute it really gives me peace of mind then after that I would go to my children and hug them. Truly if we humble ourselves to the Lord and ask for His guidance every thing will come into its place.

Motherhood will really test us every day, so being humble to God, gentle and patient was really the key to bear one another in Love. When I apply this to my life, there is harmony and peace.

I hope that you are doing well today my Hiver friends, as I end up, I pray for everyone’s safety and have a wonderful day ahead. God bless each one of us today and to your family as well, see you around for more stories to share. That’s all for today.

Sincerely, @saijan19
