A DAY TO REMEMBER: OUR RECOGNITION CEREMONY

Good day to everyone!! Welcome to another blog! I am excited to share our ***Recognition Ceremony***, which took place yesterday, ***April 14, 2025, at San Remigio Sports Complex in Poblacion, San Remigio, Cebu.***

Yesterday was a special day for all of us who worked hard throughout the school year. The atmosphere felt really formal but joyful at the same time. We were all in our uniforms, which is I find kinda boring haha, but it added a nice sense of unity during the ceremony. Everything was well-organized, well, almost everything? The thing is some students forgot what we've practiced and somehow it made the flow of the ceremony informal. But overall, everything from the entrance of the awardees to the moment we stepped on stage to receive our certificates went well.

The place was filled with proud parents, teachers who’ve supported us along the way, and classmates cheering quietly in their ways. I was expecting more audience, just like our junior high graduation, but it didn't go that way. It was a simple but meaningful celebration that reminded me of how far we’ve come this year. I’m excited to share some highlights and moments that made the day extra memorable!

The pictures above are my classmates and our two teachers—or should I say, my family? My senior high school journey wouldn’t have been the same without them. This section has definitely become one of my favorites. I met so many amazing friends, even reconnected with some from elementary, and got close with others I never expected to.

We created so many memories together through filming, working on projects, and performing in school events. Those moments made this experience extra special. I’m forever grateful to be part of this class, especially with our adviser, who’s like a queen and a loving mom to us all. She calls us "nak," which means her children, and honestly, that simple word made us feel so cared for.

I’ll forever miss this section and the bond we built, along with our other adviser, who I may not know that well, but I could tell is kind and supportive. This journey with all of them is something I’ll always carry with me.
The only message I can say is that may our bond never ends, our section may not be the same but I hope our bonds stays the same. I will forever cherish every moment spent with them, from laughter to even any kind of emotions. With classmates with such unique talents, I feel so proud as a member. And to my adviser, I hope you treat everyone this way maam, we feel loved so much.

The only thing I can say is, I really hope our bond doesn’t end. Our section might not be the same anymore, but I wish the closeness we’ve built stays just the way it is. I’ll always carry the moments we shared, whether it was laughter, stress, excitement, or even those quiet, emotional days hihi. Every single part of it meant so much to me, and I’ll never forget it.

Being part of this section made me feel proud. Everyone has something unique, and it’s amazing to be surrounded by people with so much talent and personality. I’ve learned a lot just by being with all of you.

To my adviser, thank you for treating us the way you did. You made us feel loved, safe, and guided. I hope you continue to be that kind of teacher to everyone you meet because it honestly means so much. You felt like a second mom to us, and I’ll always be grateful for that.

This might be the end of a chapter, but I hope the connection we made lasts. I’ll miss this section more than words can say.

No words can express how grateful I am to have met them and to have built a relationship with them. They're the circle I’ll forever be thankful for. Every time I’m with them, I feel at ease and genuinely happy. I can show my goofy side without feeling judged, and that kind of comfort is rare. I really appreciate how we can laugh at the simplest things, support each other when things get hard, and just enjoy each other’s company without having to pretend.

It’s not always perfect, but that’s what makes it real. We’ve been through a lot together—school projects, random moments, serious talks, and even silly arguments—but all of it just made our bond stronger. I don’t take that kind of friendship for granted. To all my winx babies, if you're reading this, I hope we all stay close even after we part ways. These people made my high school life more meaningful, and for that, I’ll always be thankful.

This group is one of the best things that happened to me this school year. We only started getting close during the second semester, all because we studied together. And now, here we are, sharing stories, exchanging secrets, and making memories I’ll never forget. I honestly didn’t expect to build this kind of connection in such a short amount of time, but I’m so glad it happened.

Unexpectedly, our parents were classmates during their high school years, except for one. Destiny sure finds its way. I love being around them. With them, I can be completely honest, cry if I need to, and let everything out without holding back. We hang out often since we live close to each other, and that just made our bond stronger. What makes it even more special is how welcoming their families are. Their parents are so kind and easy to talk to, it really feels like I belong.

I’ve come to value this friendship so much. It’s rare to find people who make you feel this seen and accepted. I can’t imagine losing them. I’ll do my best to keep this bond because it’s something I truly want to hold on to.

It’s a bit sad, we were supposed to be four in the photo, but two of our members had already gone home. The same thing happened last year during our moving-up ceremony. One of them had to leave early, so we didn’t get the chance to take a complete group photo back then, either. I just hope that when graduation comes next school year, we’ll finally get that one photo with all of us in it.

This group was my very first circle, and I could never forget them. We got really close back in Grade 9, and even now, though we’re not as tight as we used to be, we still keep in touch. I truly hope this bond never fades because I’ve treasured this friendship so much. With them, I’m comfortable being my full self—whether I’m being goofy or emotional, they’ve seen it all. We even talk about the most random things and still laugh like it’s nothing.

Honestly, this group is the most generous I’ve ever met—especially one of them, you know who you are, huhu. I may not have much to give, especially when I’m broke (which is often, haha), but I’ll always give my love and effort back to them. I’m forever grateful to have met such kind souls.

May we never become strangers, babies. I love you all so much.

Here’s my lovable seatmate, the one who’s always ready to give advice and comfort the moment she senses you’re feeling down. She’s really good with words, the kind that can melt your heart without even trying. I admire her for that.

What I love most is her goofy side. We share the same vibe, and honestly, it’s one of the best parts of my day. We laugh like crazy over the most random, nonsense jokes, and it never gets old. Being around her is just so fun and comforting at the same time.

I love being with her. Love you, Nika!!

This will be all for our Recognition Ceremony yesterday. I @saixieh hope this little glimpse into our day brought a bit of warmth and inspiration. It was a special moment for all of us, a celebration of our hard work, friendships, and the memories we’ve built along the way. I’m truly grateful to be part of this journey, and I look forward to the next milestones with the same people who made this one so meaningful. Until the next chapter! God bless us al and Congratulations!
