Tree Lizard with a New Tail
This beautiful little tree lizard has grown a new tail. It will turn from silver to blue as it develops and grows. The ability of some lizards to "drop" their tails in times of an attack to aid their escape is really quite amazing.

Here is where he likes to hang out on the roots of a giant tree.

The skin is already starting to shed itself on this new tail as it grows. Just a small circle of skin has disappeared but over the coming days the whole skin of the tail with shed to reveal a fresh bigger skin underneath. Another wondrous process these creatures go through.
