Mehn what's happening to ICOs? Many ICOs are having a seriously hard time to succeed, why some are dead. I feel ICOs are all in big trouble. There are so many ICOs that fails or let me say go away with people hard money just because they have no good plan at the beginning and release a shady whitepaper with no product. Some are even with no skills, no money to manage the project and before you know it they are out of business.

There are some fantastic ICOs I have to get involved in which work out well at the end but does this make ICOs a good one to leverage on? This day, there are many real projects, companies with an existing product, revenues and business and have a seriously hard time to raise even hundreds dollar to manage their project and this made me look into ICOs (Initial Coin Offering) as a sick entity. But wait what exactly is the issue with ICOs?

Do you know that despite the sickness around ICOs, top advisors and marketing agencies for ICOs will still charge you over $90k with your asking about basic stuff and they understand the fact that you have no chance of being profitable? 

This made me talk to some of my friends that want to start an exchange or any business not to start with ICO but rather use some funds they have to start a business or they can raise funds through other means and not via ICO. That's why partnership from some private organization comes in.

Don't get me wrong, there are still some ICOs that raise millions of dollar but I must say most of the funds are from private investors and I wonder why such project has to start with ICO when they know the only way is via the private investor. I hope you getting where I am heading to?

### Let Me Ask This: What Do You Think Is Responsible For ICOs Failure?

In my little understanding of ICO, I feel the first key is the lifespan of ICO as a whole. ICO is still a baby and we will agree with me that is dated in the time of another crypto bubble. Looking at this, ICO skyrocket in the beginning and fall like Iroko tree. For every new project or industry that just created, the stability of such industry will take some years but ICO started with a rise and the way it increases was just too fast. This little explanation has caused many lost of fund from the token market since December 2017.

This also brings out the fact that if bitcoin at the beginning valued 200$ it might have fallen back to 2$ and the trust every crypto lover has for bitcoin would have been lost by now.

On the other hands, Many ICOs turned to be scams and the project they promised never be ready and some of them did not even start any project they only use that medium to scam the investors.

### What Now Is The Solution?

I know many of you are thinking about those project you have invested in presently and panicking if it will be successful or not. Stop disturbing yourself and hear this. When you begin to panic about your investment, you are making thing worse. Hope your peace and stop creating fear by spreading the news all over that ICO is a scam. When you continue in this you are definitely risking the destruction of the whole industry. ICO is good but those that are putting their money into ICO (investors) some of them did not even understand the project and thereafter they will pay for what they have done. Before you invest in any ICO, you need to first understand the foundation and basis of such project.
The moment you fail to recognize the reason for investing, then start blaming yourself because at one point you are losing at already. On this don't blame the industry. Is just like investing in bad stock!

The new era has come and we are now in the phase where all frauds of ICO companies are been revealed to the general public and now people are very careful. As careful as people are, they are still some mistake they are making. Anytime we hear of ICO we go after verifying if is a good project or not and there are many other projects, business, and companies with no ICO that they can normally invest in especially if they were traditional fundraising.

I think there will be a rebirth of ICO soon after all correction is been made and as Bitcoin and crypto market is yielding to correction, ICO will also gain back its position and this may be in one year's time and I know by this time investor also will be smarter.
