Another Opportunity Of "Second Chance"
<div class="text-justify">

It does not matter how long someone has gone on the wrong road or have done the wrong thing, it will not make it right. Obviously, one needs to know that it is never late to retrace their steps and do what is right. You will be surprised but the truth is that if second never existed many people would have been in serious mess because a lot of people have had a wrong start. When you discover your wrongness, you do not have to continue on it and hope for it to be right. Rather, you have a responsibility to retrace your steps and do what is right - take advantage of the "second chance" provision of life while it lasts.

There are many people that have made it real big in life and have achieved massive success who did not get a smooth ride at first. As a matter of fact, some even made a couple of errors in the beginning but they were able to set their paths aright and they gave life another shot. You have to understand that your first attempt towards doing something does not determine your future, what determines your future in your follow-up attempts. If someone tries the first time and quits, then he has excluded himself from achieving success. But if someone tries, even if he did not get something worthwhile, and he keeps trying, then success will be attained.

It is adorable how life presents people with second chances, but only if they will be able to take advantage of it. A friend of mine once said that "even if opportunity comes only once, there is still another chance for a similar or better opportunity." The story of the founder of the KFC eatery proves this. Everyone may have heard of the Kentucky Fried Chicken, but the story behind its establishment is very adorable. The founder; Col Harland Sanders, had tried many other businesses prior to that time and failed at them, but he never allowed them to make him to quit, he kept trying and utilizing life's second chances.

He failed at the railway job he had, failed at the military, even failed in marriage, and a couple of other things and the trend was like that until he retired at an old age. Not going to give up on his dreams, he used the small retirement benefits that he was paid to start up a cookout business. He then came up with a chicken recipe and sought for support. After receiving numerous negative responses, he finally got a "yes." The KFC was launched at his old age but today, the name has transcended him and have even become a household name. You see, he knew he would make it in life, and as such, he never allowed the temporary failures to distract him from his permanent goal.

It is worthy to remind you that failure is neither final nor fatal, so do not allow a single failed attempt to determine your future. There are times that you feel you may have exhausted your second chances but you will be surprised how life will come through for you. At the point you feel you have come to an end, you will realize that it was just a bend. So as long as life is sustained, then you still have many other chances to try again.

As much as life gives everyone second chance, you should also try to extend the second chance to others. Someone may have erred against you and may have or have not apologized. It is left for you to give them listening ears and extend second chance to them, instead of following up judgement immediately. I once watched the throwback football match video of one of the world's renowned footballers when he started his football career. In his debut match, he was even substituted. However, the coach kept giving him other chances at redemption and with more work, he got better with time. Now he has made a name in football. Imagine if the coach had given up on him at the initial times, he would not have attained his full football potential. This is just to tell you how crucial second chances are.
