Built For Success

Great success is neither by accident nor by chance but it responds to the level of work you have put in. Messi and Ronaldo are celebrated in the world of soccer because of their outstanding performance but they have put in years in working hard, training and putting themselves through strain to achieve that level. If you are unwilling to pay the price, then you should forget about the prize.

One of the celebrated athletes and the current world's fastest man (Hussein Bolt), in one of his speeches, made an exposition about how long the trained before he achieved the feat and how many miles he had covered over the period of training for each competition. Imagine, just for a race of 100 meters, he had to train for miles but it was worth it at the end.

When you look at the glory of anyone, there is always a story behind it. If you desire the kind of glory you see in anyone, you must be ready to do similar things to what they did. This era has been greeted with insane competition in almost every field of human endeavour and for you to be outstanding, you must put in extra effort and go beyond the ordinary - of course, that's how you see extraordinary results.

Your level of output is dependent on your level of input. If you need your output to be great, you must, as a matter of necessity, put up a great input. For example, in the academic field, when you cover up beyond your scheme of work, then you will not expect anything short of success.

Anytime you fail to give out the best preparation you can, then do not expect the best of you to be unleashed. Similarly, those that completely fail to plan have just willing given themselves up for a planned attempt to fail.

Any great success you admire should begin with a careful preparation and planning. No great building is ever built without an architectural plan. In the same way, if greatness is your desired destination, then you should not fail to plan extensively for it.
