Doing The Right Thing With Knowledge
<div class="text-justify">

Gaining knowledge is not where it stops. The question is "what are you doing with the knowledge you have acquired". Gaining knowledge is good but of what use is knowledge without application? The only prove that you have gained extensive knowledge is if you can convert it to something tangible. For example, if you have knowledge of some saleable business ideas and you can't implement it to get profit, then the knowledge is almost futile.

Most times, what actually matters is not the knowledge itself but what you have done with the knowledge. This is why life is not all about theories but there is a place to put them into practicals. It is the practical that gives credence to the theories.

What someone teaches you and you do not put it to practice, you have the propensity to forget it. This is why someone can have knowledge in something and because of long inactivity, that particular knowledge may be lost. Yes, actions and inactions affect knowledge positively and negatively respectively. Knowledge is not only meant to be acquired once but to be improved upon, so as to maintain relevance.

Some people do not know that knowledge is not constant. The knowledge that may be very relevant today, in a few years time, it may become so common that the relevance will be overshadowed. That is why you need to keep adding to your knowledge base and also keep looking for other applications of the knowledge. A particular old knowledge can be applied with modern approach and still arrive at the desired result. Sometimes, the upgrade you need is just to improve on the application of your previous knowledge.

The world keeps changing at an exponential rate with many competitions arising and so also are the requirements to outshine the competitions keep getting higher. To keep up with the trend and to remain in the game, you must put in extra effort on your "ordinary", so as to have that extraordinary result you need.

Many years ago, the phrase "slow and steady..." was very popular but as the world keeps getting advanced, many things are changing that the "slow and steady" do not stand the chance of even being in the race again when people with speed and steadiness have entered the race - so you need constant upgrade.

Any knowledge you have now is not to be hidden with the hope of "when the right time comes...". It is meant to be used in the present and improved upon, so as to make you better.
