6.901 HBDGuidelines For Achieving Life Success [Final Part]
<div class="text-justify"> Achieving success in life does not come without your input and responsibility. Your journey to success places certain requirements on you to take necessary actions to see your dream fulfilled. A few days ago, we took the [first part](https://peakd.com/motivation/@samminator/guidelines-for-achieving-life-success) of the necessary guidelines to follow in order to achieve success. Here, we shall look at the second and concluding part of it. Always remember that it is what you do - that is your actions, decisions, choices, inactions, responsibility, etc, that will determine who you will become and what you will achieve. <center></center> <center>Image from [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com/photos/businessman-steering-success-3492380)</center> The first guideline we shall look at is time management. As someone who wants to achieve success, you have to understand that time is among the top valuable assets at your disposal. Everyone may have equal time, including you, but not everyone use their own effectively. This is why you have to use your time in doing what will bring you closer to your dreams - that is prioritizing your tasks according to your dreams. When you have a task to perform or an action to undertake, try to avoid procrastination and do it promptly. I have come to realise that there is a very high chance of succeeding at a task when you do it on time. This is because time will be in your favour and you will even have plenty of time to make adjustments and corrections if things do not go as expected. The second guideline is to take risks. A lot of what you want to achieve will require you to take some very daring and risky steps. By doing this, you have to overcome fear - fear of uncertainty, or failure, etc. This is because, fear can inhibit your propensity to take risks. Of course, the achievement you desire might just be on the other side of fear. However, taking risk neither means being reckless with your life nor being uncalculated. Do not just do something because you are being encouraged to take risks, rather do it because you know it is required and that you know you have calculated it enough to succeed at it. When you take risks, welcome the uncertainties they may be attached to them, and do not be scared of failing. The next guideline to consider here is to have patience. Learn to trust the process and stay on the course. Many of the things you want to achieve will not be achieved in a day, but will require some time. In fact, some may even span a few years. You may be trying to set up a business or acquire a skill, or even go for a course, you have to know that these things take time. You have to first ask yourself what the projected time frame will be, then have the patience to follow the process. The mind-blowing successes and achievements you see today did not just suddenly appear overnight, some took years of intense works. When you learn to have patience, you will overcome the desperation to follow shortcuts. <center></center> <center>Image from [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com/illustrations/stairs-success-career-happiness-5967519)</center> Another very important guideline towards achieving success is to maintain good health - both physically and mentally. Trust me, it is when you are healthy that you will be talking about pursuing after your dreams. In fact, there is almost nothing that makes meaning to someone who is not healthy. So you need to take good care of your physical and mental health, so as to be able to go after your dreams. You also have to know that your mind and your body are the foundation upon which a lot of other things are built on. Good health leads to good actions that will produce good results. To keep yourself healthy, try to eat right, take good exercise, rest adequately, go for regular checkups, take care of your mental health, etc. All these can help to keep one healthy. The last guideline is to build the right network of people. People can help you achieve your dreams in ways that you cannot even imagine. The network of good people that you build today may become what will build you up tomorrow. Whatever you want to achieve, you will still need people because you are not an island. So try to build a good network and relationship with people of common interest. ***Thanks for reading*** <div class=phishy>Peace on y'all</div> https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/samminator/htu0yqPT-unknown-2.png https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/samminator/242humvD58PJ6Y9Tgr8yEcPhbgmtiQCBYijcLDxqsQrjETUiqVUGwaYMZX3uuxN1C9fV6.gif </div>
