One of the biggest enemies of making considerable progress is procrastination and that is the enemy that kills time and annihilates opportunities. Whenever you leave what you should have done in the moment for the future, you have only succeeded in killing the moment and when the moment is killed, the future becomes bleak. This is why you have to learn to use time in your favour by acting on time.

It will surprise you to know that many people already have a closely related idea to your own. Imagine what will happen when you delay you own and others execute their own before your own. The truth is, there is a special benefit (call it grace) that normally follows an idea that is executed before every other similar idea when the market is still very fresh.

There is a company that deals on production of noodles here. The brand name of the noodle has not just become a household name but has replaced the generic name that almost everyone now links other noodles to that particular brand, simply because they were among the first companies that started producing noodles. This same "early birds" grace is also applicable in other aspects of life. No wonder this popular phrase:

> capture the market while it is still young

Timeliness is very important to having a sustainable success. In a scenario where many equities are presented with the same opportunity, the one that is favoured most is the one on time. In a race for example, everyone will get to the finish line but that does not really matter. The only thing that matters is when each of them braces the line and who braces it first.

Why is it that when you talk about moon travel, you will mention Neil Armstrong? Well, this is expected because he was the first person to get there. It is possible that there are others that have wished to go there before him but he took the first step and his made a name. Procrastinating what you should have done today till tomorrow may not make it simpler but may even complicate it because time would have been against you.

For every idea or dream you have, there is always a time that the idea will remain potent. If you do not act within that particular time, a time will come when the idea will be affected by the passage of time and will become obsolete. Imagine if someone had based their ideas on the manual typewriter in this age of computational complexity, the idea would have become obsolete. This is why you have to always use time in your favour by aligning yourself with the trend of event.
