<div class="text-justify"> Many people get so busy with work and many other things that they give less attention to their families. Well, just to tell you, most of the things that you are giving your life for may not stand by you in the moment of challenge. The truth is, if anything happens to you, you will be surprised how easily it will be to replace you in your workplace, but family will still stick around you. <center></center> <center>Image from [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com/photos/panorama-alps-distant-view-hochwald-4610864)</center> You will agree with me that you can change as many jobs as possible, but family is who you stay with. At strategic and important times, family will still come through. Take for instance, if your health is challenged, you work will not stand by your sick bed till you recover, but your family will. When you get old, the most that your previous work will do for you is to place you on pension, but you family will take care of you. This is why you should not sacrifice the care of your family for other things - like work. There is always a way to blend work and family without being deficient in any. There are some choices that you possess. Like, you can make a choice of the kind of work you want, you can also make a choice of the kind of friends that you will hang out with. However, your free-choice does not include changing your family. What you have a choice is how to treat them. If you treat them well in the morning, they will stand by you in the evening. It is as simple as that. It feels so sad to see some kids grow up and when they start doing well, they will quickly forget their parents who stood by them through thick and thin. Many of the kids even go as far as pointing out flaws in their parents as an excuse for not taking care of them. How saddening. Your parents did not see flaws in you when they took care of you, you also did not see flaws in them when you came to them for assistance. Is it now that they will need your care and assistance, that you will start seeing flaws in them? Your first duty as a human should be to your family. If you cannot take care of your family, then you have failed in a very crucial aspect of life. Just to let you know, this also has a ripple-effect kind of consequences. That is, if you fail to take care of your family (your parents, for example), your kids will be watching you and they will also treat you the same way. So the good legacy you should leave for your children is to teach them the right way that they should grow. <center></center> <center>Image from [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com/photos/girl-father-portrait-family-1641215)</center> If you take a reflection from way back, you will realize that there are some people or somethings that you have prioritized in your life that have long been gone, but family endures. In regards to this, you should be the kind of family that you have wished to have. Whatever qualities that you are looking for in your families members, as a member of the family, you should also meet the same qualities. If you are the person that always forms "busy" to your family (especially when they need your attention), a time will come when they will also form busy when you will need them to show you their attention. So Look after your family. ***Thanks for reading*** <div class=phishy>Peace on y'all</div> https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/samminator/htu0yqPT-unknown-2.png https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/samminator/242humvD58PJ6Y9Tgr8yEcPhbgmtiQCBYijcLDxqsQrjETUiqVUGwaYMZX3uuxN1C9fV6.gif </div>
