Many people tend to give in to peer pressures and to the words of their friends who force them to deviate from their true identity and become someone else. However, they tend to forget that you can only make impact when you have influenced the world positively, not when you have allowed the world to influence you.

It does not matter how you try, you can only effectively function and succeed by being yourself. Anytime you try to imitate someone else, just know that you have only limited yourself to becoming number 2. This is because, no matter how good a photocopy is, it cannot be preferred over the original.

Each time you try to exist as being someone else, you face unnatural pressure and stress. This is just like a fish trying to imitate the crocodile and leaving the water, it will struggle so much because it is not meant to leave the water but live in it.

Your identity is what defines you, and deviating from it will make the success journey difficult. Do not allow anyone to judge you by your inabilities - cos it will breed pressure and make you tilt towards the path you are not designed for. Remember, judging a fish by its inabilities to leave the water just like the crocodile is very pointless.

Even though you are taught to be flexible at all times but you should also know your limits, so as not to stretch yourself beyond your limits. Believe me, you will be better of and even succeed effectively when you align yourself to your area of calling. Always try to be the "you" you are meant to be and not someone else.
