Hello there and welcome to another review from my blog, but this time I will be talking about some exciting behind-the-scenes discoveries I came across in some of my favourite TV shows.

# The Big Bang Theory
With the number of times I have written about this sitcom and my frequent reference to the show, it should come as no surprise that I will start with this show. 

Last week, I was engaged in a movie conversation with a friend about how big this sitcom got and how the stars of the show, Sheldon, Leonard, and even Penny, made a pretty substantial amount that should put a smile on your face when you go to the bank.

Then my friend spoke about how the apartments they used for the sitcom would be very expensive since these are apartments used in a renowned TV show. This is where the discovery began.  

I told her it would be shocking to know they did not use any apartments. Probably just a studio set where they built in and designed these apartments for the show.  We pondered a little on the conversation until we finally watched a behind-the-scenes video on YouTube.

I played the video just to show her that the apartments were built in sets, but here is where I came to another discovery. The staircase in those staircase scenes is not real. It is simply just a built-in staircase of one, and with the use of good cinematography, they made it look like the cast where going round and round, while they were going nowhere. # Suits
Next up is the legal drama, Suits. After I discovered the staircase scenes in The Big Bang Theory, I became more intrigued about what other series could be using good cinematography to play tricks on what our eyes can see on the screen.

I remember the first time I watched this series during my final years in secondary school. I was amazed by the aesthetics that came with the building, especially. How tall it was and the concept of working in a skyscraper building fascinated me.

Now, fast forward a couple of years down the line, after the series has been completed, and I discovered a shocking review from watching the set tour video on YouTube

Here is the video if you are a Suits fan, and you would like to see the intriguing discovery I came across:

The shocking behind-the-scenes discovery I uncovered from watching the above video was that those skyscraper buildings that make up a beautiful view from the window are not real.  

As Donna pointed out in the video, it is simply a gigantic painting of New York City perfectly placed behind the set at the studio. Wow, that is some visual presentation I didn't see coming. Although I wasn't shocked to discover they didn't use skyscraper buildings but uncovering this about the window view blew my mind. 

This goes to show how a lot of work is put into good cinematography to build an aesthetic view for the eye.

# The Blacklist
The last TV show I am going to end this post with is The Blacklist. While watching some videos on YouTube to uncover some intriguing behind the scene secret about the show, I uncover more about the actress Megan Boone, who played Elizabeth Keen in the Blacklist.

Did you know she did her stunts for the first two seasons?

Yeah, that is true. Megan Boone went through a couple of training for her role in the blacklist which included physical fitness and martial art. So those actions you see in the first two seasons were done by her.

But she took a step back from stunts in season three when she got pregnant in the show. And that is not all, her pregnacy in season 3 of the blacklist was actual real. She was pregnant in real life, so the writers of the show decided to write it into her script as well. This led to her using a stunt double afterwards. 

Discovering these behind-the-scenes secrets from these shows makes the shows more intriguing, as it shows a lot of work was put into it by a lot of people.
