Today, the FCC plans to vote to repeal the Obama era Net Neutrality regulations. These new policies will allow broadband companies to self-regulate how they provide access to certain sites and their users. Killing Net Neutrality will also scrap consumer protections, prevent states from enacting rules that contradict the FCC's measures. Sam sat down with Ryan Singel, a Media and Strategy Fellow at Stanford Law School’s Center for Internet and Society, to discuss the history of Net Neutrality and what happens when we enact such dramatic changes to what has become an essential utility in our society.
