I very rarely shill coins because there are very few which I see as trumping all of them.   Nexo is one of those few and I put my money where my mouth is back in April when I invested $1000 during their ICO.  Since then I have increased my investment x4 and just in the last week it has doubled.

Putting the gains aside, there is a very good reason why this coin trumps all the others at the dawn of a new age in which crypto will be as normal as the banking system is today.

## Why is Nexo the token which trumps them all?

Because there is not a person amongst us who doesn't want more capital during a bull run.  Nexo offer fiat or crypto loans based on how much you are prepared to invest in their coin.  It is an ingenious idea which permits investors to make the most of their money.

## No need to buy Nexo on an exchange

If you buy $1000 worth of Nexo on their [platform](https://platform.nexo.io/account) you will be able to borrow a further $1000 to invest as you choose and once you have paid back the loan plus interest you will re-gain access to your original Nexo.  

At this moment in time my initial investment of $1000 permits me to draw a loan of $4000 but for now I am in hodl mode.  When the bull run begins I will be taking out the maximum loan available because let's face it, it's not all that hard to double our money at times like this, making the re-payment of loans incredibly simple.

## Recent news
Nexo are now CoinMarketCap’s only endorsed crypto-backed lender.

They have created a Get Loan button on each and every page of the most visited website in the blockchain space (100+ million views monthly).

More recently this same button was added to each transaction page on [Etherscan](https://etherscan.io), the most used Ethereum explorer.

Nexo's price responded immediately to the get loan button announcement at the beginning of this month and has been growing in momentum since then.

## How does the loan work?

In a nutshell, you buy Nexo, hold it in their [platform wallet](https://platform.nexo.io/account) and then you can take a fiat or crypto loan using your tokens as collateral. 

When the loan is repaid you get your Nexo back (along with any gains or losses it may have seen).

You don't even need to buy Nexo to secure your loan.  Right now you can use BTC, ETH, BNB & XRP and this list will keep growing over time.

However, to incentivise the hodling of their native token, you will receive interest rate discounts if you create your loan with Nexo.

In an industry first they are sharing 30% of their current profits with holders of their token on December 15th.  They will continue offering dividends in this way, further incentivising long term hodling.

Finally, if you pay back your loan using Nexo, you receive a hefty discount on the interest rate.

## Closing Thoughts 

The Nexo website is really easy to use with a single page interface and I feel sure that this little blue Get Loan button on [CoinMarketCap](https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nexo/) and [Etherscan](https://etherscan.io) will now lead many people to this site where they will be enticed to buy some Nexo and get themselves a loan, pushing that price ever higher.

It makes sense to invest early giving ourselves the best chance of a bigger loan when the moment arrives in which we need it (assuming Nexo continues rising in value).
