# Knowing your need exactly, helps in better shopping, but...  Shopping is a very pleasant experience around this time of the year, as most of the shopping malls are decorated very nicely. In fact, they put up such nice ambience around middle of this month and extend them till New year, to include Christmas. As this is a holiday season, people really enjoy this time out in the pleasing winter. We went out to buy the ear ring of my daughter - it was long pending replacement. As I remember, we bought her a small ring 4-5 years back. It's a tradition that girls do ear piercing from an early age and wear a earring, but then their school always recommends not to give them expensive ornaments, because it could be lost or even someone may attempt to steal it and thus cause damage to the kid. So we always choose a very mini size earring that is light weight and would fit close, so that one cannot easily pull it.     Last time it was a simple oval ring, but then it was pretty difficult to get a similar one this time. After exploring in three renowned shops , we finally got something similar in the fourth shop.   She was wearing something similar to this oval one, but then this time we recommended to take the other one on the top. She is very choosy and specific about what she wants, but then given her age, she sometimes look forward to us to help her choose between what she chooses. We both felt the top one looks more elegant, so she picked this one.  Initially the sales ladies tried to convince us to buy heavier ones as there were beautiful designs available, but then we made them understand, how important it is for her safety to not wear expensive ornaments. And my daughter understands as well, so no complain from her side.    The exchange price of the old one was not a lot, as it was only 1.5 gm heavy, but we still exchanged it, knowing that there was no use of it anymore.   As soon as they came out happily out of the jewellery showroom, we walked out to a nearest hotel which is our favorite.      The hotel is famous for its tasty food in affordable price, running since few decades. They have scaled up nicely to set up the ambience to current times, but then the price is much affordable. Look at the happy face of everyone - pretty much satisfied with the food. As we walked out could not stop taking the picture of this nice background from nature.   Then they wanted some footwear and walked into Metro shoes and bought one for each. The salesperson did succeed to convince the lady to sell this machine to remove dry cells from feet 😏 - stones would do that job in earlier times. Me and my son were just spectators watching silently - of course pinching my pocket. We were silently waiting to see when these ladies would tell us to go home, but then they wanted to visit the newly opened shopping mall having Shopper's Stop. My daughter wanted to buy a winter jacket.        But they were disappointed not to find what she wanted - something that is sober and elegant. She won't buy if she does not find what she wants - very very specific. Sometimes its good, you can quickly choose if you see what you want. But then there are times, you won't get it, so finding out in many places is time consuming. She bought a gift for her friend from this shop and then as I paid the bill, they went out t other shops. After I came out with her gift, we met in the pathway, and the lady took the bag from my hand and left it in a shop that they went. Coming back, my daughter noticed the bag missing, but then none of us could recollect, where the bag went. The silent boy started to put his brain, investigating like a crime scene and finally he took them wherever they went and found it in one shop. Kids now a days are way smart than us.          Overall a lovely family time spent on shopping with some nice food.
