*Made Using Canva*
It's great to have you once again here on my blog. π π π I hope you are having an awesome day? Feel free to stick around; we have so much fun. I'll be sharing with you today on a timely topic on how I prepare for my exams and coincidentally, that's exactly what I am doing now. π > ### Here's How I Do It - A student is one whose business is to study, π not merely one who attends a learning institution therefore I prepare first for my exams by studying ahead even before the exam or test date is announced. After my lectures each day, I review what I learnt in class that day from the points I jotted down and thereafter do an in depth study on the subject or I can leave the latter to a later time. This helps me understand better and much clearer the topic treated. - Then according to my study schedule or timetable, the course I did a review on what I was taught about in class, I delve deeper into it using all forms of materials at my disposal : YouTube videos, educational apps, websites that major on the topic and others. I study a medical course π©Ί - Human Anatomy that studiesπ¬ the structure of the human body in relation to its function therefore, pictorial representations are very important. You have to see it to understand it that's why I use a lot of video and 3D resources to aid my learning. - As my exams draw close, I major on the important topic areas where possible exam questions can stem from. The Holy Spirit helps me so much in this aspect as well. For a course as super broad as mine, you may not be sure which area to major on but the Holy Spirit guides me on this and very specifically too. I get to know those areas and focus more on them. - I also ask my senior colleagues - The medicos, how each course lecturer sets his questions, from what topics and how to answer his exam questions, whether to go straight to the point or write a full essay starting from an introduction, down to the body and conclusion. - Furthermore, during class the lecturer could point out where he could set his questions from by just plainly saying it or telling us to take good note of a particular topic. When I hear such, I highlight it so I can focus more on it. - Finally, I engage in discussions. I am not the type that does TDB ( Till Day Break) β what we call an all-night reading especially in the school lecture halls. I prefer reading at home, alone and after class, I discuss with my friend on what I read and she does the same. By this, we learn from each other, sharpen our minds on what we already know, correct ourselves where necessary and recall relevant information . These are the settings that come into play when my exam / test mode is ON!! π₯ I do hope you found value. π
*Till next time...* **Like my blog?
