I dig geometric shapes and repeating patterns, and Vegas has hundreds of thousands of square feet of “designer” carpet!

The casinos of Vegas intentionally choose wild, deeply patterned carpets a) because they hide stains well, and b) for high visual stimulation. It’s part of the sensory overload masterminding for disorienting consumers once they walk in the door. Once a consumer is confused in the labyrinth of slot machines, flashing lights, loud noises, and crazy bold carpets, they’re more likely to drink and gamble and spend money...all those vices humans turn to for comfort, especially when you don’t have healthier options for soothing the nervous system.
