I'm excited to say that my mom is recovering so well.   She gets to go home today.  

Last weekend,  she had emergency heart surgery from an aneurysm in her aorta.  She almost didn't make it. But the surgery went well and she is recovering quickly.  

I'm so proud of her.  I just wish I could be with her.  She is all the way in North Carolina.  I miss my mom.  Hopefully I can take some time off from work soon so I can fly out to see her.  

Every upvote will bring me closer to being able to visit her.  

Either way, I'm just happy that she is fighting through this.
