Fact:
Did you know that all the money thrown in the world famous Trevi fountain in Rome is donated to charity.
It is said that throwing a coin over your shoulder in the fountain will bring you good luck, and as the fountain gets a lot of visitors a lot of money is fished out of the fountain every week. All the money is given to a charity called Caritas which helps provide poor families with some money. 

So even if you don't get good luck by throwing a coin in the fountain you still bring good luck to others who might need it even more than you do. It's a win-win!
